An immersive 8-day wildlife experience with extended time in Tarangire and Serengeti.
This 8-day safari gives you extended time to explore Tarangire and Serengeti National Parks in depth. With multiple days in each park, you'll have unparalleled wildlife viewing opportunities including the Ngorongoro Crater.
The start of your Tanzania Wilderness Safari begins in the capital of safaris, Arusha. You will be collected from Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your lodge for the night.
From Kilimanjaro or Arusha transfer to Tarangire, arriving in time for lunch. Tarangire lies a little distance to the south east of Lake Manyara and covers an area of approximately 2,850 square kilometers.
Today we make the most of Tarangire National Park with both morning and afternoon game drives. The landscape is iconically African with open Acacia woodlands and Baobab trees.
Leaving Tarangire behind you will drive to Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site, the Serengeti National Park.
There's nothing like an early morning start allowing you to experience one of the most ultimate game viewing sessions. For something completely different, we can arrange an early morning balloon safari.
Say goodbye to the enchanting Serengeti National Park only to be presented with another natural wonder, the Ngorongoro Crater. En route visit Olduvai Gorge.
To experience the crater without the crowds you will rise early for a half day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to about 25,000 animals and is one of the last places in Tanzania where the Big Five can be seen.
We leave Karatu after breakfast and head back to Kilimanjaro or Arusha where our safari ends.
